September 12, 2007: Robin Raina Foundation (RRF) announced today that it has entered into a joint venture agreement with a Delhi based charity SHINE to work on a number of projects targeted towards providing education, food, clothing, medical care and shelter to the slum dweller’s children in Noida and surrounding areas. As a part of this agreement, a new school with 329 children currently enrolled has been started in the slums of Noida in Sector- 53.

The agreement to work jointly on this project under the brand name RAINA-SHINE was signed recently by Shamit Bhartia, Trustee of SHINE and Robin Raina, Founder of RRF.

Making the announcement, the RRF Spokesperson Sanjay Supehia said, “Presently work is on at the school to provide all the facilities to children like computers, benches, distilled water, refrigerators, television, play facilities etc. in addition to quality education. We expect the facility to have up to 650 children studying in another few months.”
