All homes are built completely free for the slum dwellers. All homes are built directly by RRF while monitoring the architecture, construction, electrical, etc. using outside construction workers, project managers etc. All material costs are directly paid for by RRF to the vendors (for cement, paint, stone, metal, wiring etc.). This ensures that no money is given to any middlemen or to contractors who could possibly cost a lot more. No money is ever handed over to the family. as all costs towards building these homes are directly borne by RRF RRF ensures that an undertaking is taken from the family not to sell the house for another 7 years. This ensures that they do not scumbb to pressure from real estate traders to sell their homes for a quick buck. RRF also ensures that homes are only built for slum dwellers who agree to send their kids to school.
